Perry Engineering has chosen George Saville as our Safe Employee of the Month. George has been employed with us for 52 years, currently as an equipment operator. He was nominated by a supervisor who wrote, “Always operates his equipment in a safe way; always looks behind when backing; looks out for overhead and buried utilities; keeps machine clean and greased; watches out for people and equipment in his swing radius; always wears his PPE; and is at work early every day.” George Saville is a good example of the Perry Priorities – Safety, Quality, Production.

Perry Engineering participated in OSHA’s Safe and Sound Week August 15-21, 2022.  Safe and Sound Week is a nationwide event held each August that recognizes the successes of workplace health and safety programs and offers information and ideas on how to keep America’s workers safe.  Each day during the week the crews began the day by discussing a specific safety topic such as “where are the fire extinguishers on site?”  and “where is the first aid kit and how do we summon emergency services?”, among other topics.  Daily discussion of safety keeps it fresh in worker’s minds and reinforces the training they’ve received.
