Project Description:  28,000 sf building expansion.  Project includes demolition of existing utilities and pavement, installation of new utilities, underground stormwater storage facility, import of 15,000 cy of fill, concrete and asphalt paving.

U S Silica – Mapleton Phase 3 Overburden Removal – Mapleton, PA

Project Description:  Removal of 316,000 cy of overburden within quarry. 

White Wave Facility Expansion, Mt. Crawford, VA

Project Description:  143,000 sf building expansion.  Project is phased to maintain operation of existing facility.  Consists of 190,000 cy excavation,  approximately 10,000 lf of utility work (storm, sanitary and water), concrete and asphalt paving, and concrete retaining wall.

Gainesboro Convenience Center – Frederick County, VA

Project Description:  Construction of landfill collection area including grading, gabion retaining walls, stone and asphalt paving.

Home Depot RDC Truck Expansion – Winchester, VA

Project Description:  Expansion for 241 trailer spaces at existing Home Depot Distribution Center.  Includes importing structural fill, storm sewer, site concrete and asphalt paving.

Maranto Drive Lot 3 Road Improvements

Project Description:  Construct left turn lane for lot 3 while maintaining traffic.  Includes reconstruction of concrete median and pavement overlay.

Shenandoah University Health & Science Building

Project Description:  Sitework for new education building on campus.  Close proximity to existing buildings and utilities.  Project includes excavation for basement floor in heavy rock.

Southeast Connector – VDOT B85

Project Description:  Construction of 0.6 miles of roadway to connect ex. Stone Spring Road to Port Republic Road.  Includes traffic control while constructing intersection with Peach Grove Road.  Also includes installation of box culvert, bioretention basin, storm sewer, water relocation, sanitary sewer relocation, traffic signalization, site concrete and asphalt paving.

Car Max 6055 – Harrisonburg, VA

Project Description:  Demolition of existing car dealership property for new Car Max.  Work included lowering existing lot and hauling material offsite, site utilities, curbing, concrete paving, and asphalt paving.  Project was under tight schedule and included working during winter months.  Dealership was opened on time.
